Minor League Tournaments is a group that allows people to compete with other gamers to win prizes for a low fee of only $3.00. We give you the excitement of a tournament from the comfort of your own home. (Entry fee is susceptible to changes)
Is this legal?
Yes. Since you are playing games that do not rely on chance it is legal. However, due to certain state laws there are a few states where they deem this kind of activity illegal. If you live in the following states, you may not play for CASH prizes but you may compete for other prizes: Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee, and Vermont.
How old do I have to be to compete?
You must be 18 years or older to compete at Minor League Tournaments.
What systems are compatible with Minor League Tournaments?
PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 and you must have the game for the tournament that you enter.
How does Minor League Tournaments work?
Go to the Tournament Sign Up page and choose the tournament that you want to participate in. Click the "sign up" link and it will take you to the individual tournament page where you can read the rules, agree to them, and pay the fee. You must enter your gamertag and email address when you purchase your entry. We will send you your confirmation to the email you list. If you forget to enter one of the necessary fields you will be refunded the full amount and be kicked from the tournament. When you receive your confirmation you will be given the date, time, and a list of your opponents. It is up to you and your opponents to meet up online and start the tournament. When the game is over, please go to the homepage and click on "Report Outcome." Click on your tournament and follow the instructions to report the outcome of the game. There will be a 24 hour window for you to report the outcome. Once the outcome is confirmed you will receive your prize within 5-7 business days. We will send the prize to the shipping address you listed during the sign up.
Why is the website run off of Blogger?
Blogger allows the us to provide the information and services needed to keep entry fees at a low price. If we change to an official website we will inform fans and members prior to setting up the website.
How do I sign up?
You sign up and pay through Paypal, a third-party payment service that allows you to pay privately and securely. You do not need to sign up for an account with them in order to compete. Once you have payed we will be notified and we will confirm your entry.
What are the prizes?
We will offer both cash and item prizes. The prizes to be won will be listed when you sign up for the tournament. The winning amounts and prizes will be based on the number of entries we receive. The more entires, the better the prize. You should receive your prize in the mail within 5-7 days. If there is an issue with your prize you may contact us via email and we will fix the issue as soon as we can.
